For many years we were not interested in showing, then we acquired that 'special' puppy, and were bitten by the 'show bug. We started showing in 1999 and still enjoy the comradeship and competition of the shows. The quality of our Miniature Schnauzers has improved over the years, and we are very proud of that fact.
Our goal is to breed our dogs to produce and improve our mini's to the best temperment and breed standards possible.
Our robust little dogs are great companions. They are adaptable to your situation. They love to go on walks , are great travellers, and are happy being couch potatoes too. They excel at obedience and agility, are very intelligent, learning quickly.
All our puppies are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, microchipped, vetted, and health guaranteed. We have all our puppies checked for juvenile cataracts by a qualified Veterinary Opthamologist. All our adult breeding dogs have their eyes checked by an Opthamologist for any eye disorders. We also have initiated a wellness test for our breeding dogs to check for any underlying problems.
We are a small breeder, only having 1 - 2 litters of pups per year. All of our puppies are raised in our house, each one being loved and handled individually.
Larissa, one of our grandaughters helps me with the grooming and showing, she is a junior handler. I enjoy the time she spends with me, and I have great hopes that she will continue on with our lines. She works well with the dogs, and they all love her. She acquired her first championship at the show in Lindsay, Ontario on June 28, 2011.
